MEDC: Electronic Channels to Record Electricity Meter Reading

Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) provides the customers with meter reading service (Homeowners Know Better) through several electronic channels while they are at home.

This service enables subscribers to record the electricity meter reading without the need to wait for the meter reader employedby the company, especially in light of these exceptional circumstances of the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) as the reader becomes unable to enter the houses in a measure to limit the spread of the virus. Subscribers whose meters are located outside their houses may also benefit from this service.
