Meter Inspection Request

You can submit a request to inspect the meter through the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company website in case there is any technical problem with the meter, or if you think that the bill does not reflect your electricity consumption.

Required process for Meter Inspection request
  1. submit your request through MEDC electronic portal
  2. MEDC team will Review and register the application if all documents are completed.
  3. If request is approved, MEDC team will visit your premise to check the condition of the meter
  4. If there are any missing documents, you will receive an SMS for update required with link to resubmit your request again.
  5. You will receive an SMS for not approving your request.
Required documents for Meter Inspection:
  1. Copy of Valid ID card
  2. Meter Image
  3. Copy of tenancy agreement if the applicant is a tenant
