Customers with Special Needs

We appreciate that it is essential to have a constant electricity supply if you rely on certain types of medical support equipments. It might be necessary to temporarily disconnect your supply to carry out essential work and we guarantee that we will inform you beforehand. Our agents will notify you, usually by sending a letter or by any other communication means, giving you no less than 3 days notice. Installation of Generator:

To request installation of a standby generator, the customer has to fill in the “Request for Generator Installation License Form” and submit it in the customer service departments that are available in six different locations through out the Governorate of Muscat or in the Head Office in Ghubrah.

Change Tariff Type:

To request change in Tariff Type, the customer has to fill in the “Request for Change in Tariff Type Form” and submit it in the customer service departments that are available in six different locations through out the Governorate of Muscat or in the Head Office in Ghubrah.

Change Meter Type:

To request change in Meter Type, the customer has to fill in the “Request for Change in Meter Type Form” and proceed as follows:

1- The form has to be submitted to any customer service departments that are available in six different locations through out the Governorate of Muscat or in the Head Office in Ghubrah.

2- Professionals will be sent to the site to secure the connections and to conclude whether or not the extra load will be sustainable and safe

3- A payment voucher is issued to the customer for the Change of Meter Type which is to be paid at the bank.

4- The customer is given a list of authorized companies from which one is chosen and contracted to install the meter (that have been tested initially by the company).

5- Clearing of old account and the immediate effectiveness of the new account.
