Request for Approval:

Muscat Electricity Distribution Company along with other licensed distribution companies take all precautions before approving any materials that are going to be used in any up coming projects.  These precautions are means to safe working environments for the workers as well as the success of the project.

Approved materials are registered with the Distribution Code Review Panel (DCRP) for future reference to distinguish between the materials that are known and can be used trustfully in Oman electrical system.

To get an approval for a certain material, it is obligatory for the supplying company to submit a complete report on the product as per "Application Procedures" addressed to the Secretary of the Distribution Code Review Panel or send it via E-mail to approval@medcoman.com
 

Approved Materials:

A "List of Approved Materials" is available for your reference and is updated periodically in coordination with the Distribution Code Review Panel. Most of these materials are used in Oman electrical system and have shown good quality.

Standards:

Muscat Electricity Distribution Company along with other licensed distribution companies coordinates with Authority of Electricity Regulation (AER) to set certain standards that suppliers/contractors should meet.  These standards insure product safety and efficiency.  To view or download these standards, please visit the Downloads link on the website.
